Legends for new Atlanta Hawks guard Delon Wright to study No. 3) Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford had a 20-year career in the NBA as a high-level scorer. During his career, he was named the Sixth Man of the Year three times which is an incredible level of consistency for a bench player. He won his first with the Hawks back in 2010.

This was ten years into his career which means that Crawford changed from being a starter to coming off the bench. This is difficult to do because you have to pick up the tempo of the game and how your team is going while also trying to play your own game.

Crawford was so good at it that he managed to achieve this feat a further two times which has never been done in the NBA before, nor after. Wright is lucky enough to be playing with a two-time Sixth Man of the Year winner Lou Williams which should help his career no end.

What Wright needs to do is study how Crawford was able to influence a game and become a true spark-plug off the bench. If he can do this for the Hawks this season then they are going to be in a really good place to challenge for the championship this season.
