Atlanta Hawks : 3 Improvement De’Andre Hunter must make

Atlanta Hawks wing, De’Andre Hunter is entering his 3rd year in the league looking to build off of last year. He was hurt for most of last season but showed flashes of improvement especially on the offensive end of the ball.
This coming year he is looking to stay healthy, and show that last year’s flashes are a part of his game for good. The former fourth overall pick is viewed as the key to unlocking all of the Hawk’s team potential.
He is considered the team’s best defender and will be tasked with guarding the opposition’s best player on a nightly basis. Then has improved his scoring from 12.3 points a game to 15.0 points a game from year one to year two.
It wouldn’t be surprising if that point average goes up again this year as well. Hunter truly if he can stay healthy can help the team in so many ways. Hunter also may be in the running for the Most Improved Player award as well this coming year.
The Atlanta Hawks will want to see that De’Andre Hunter is one of the best two-way wings in the league.
Hunter had worked on his game all the way before this past season as well. He has been in the lab, taking advantage of the time away that the Hawks had when COVID-19 stopped the league in the 2019-20 season.
Last season, he showed some of his fruits of labor, however, he has put in even more work while he has been away last season, working on the mental aspect of the game. Now, we dive into 3 things Hunter can improve in his third season.
