Improvements for Atlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari No. 2) Leadership

Gallo is one of the leaders on this team for the Hawks and the Hawks will depend on this to help guide the young core.  In the 2021 playoffs, Gallo was a constant threat and came up big when the Hawks needed him.

It was a lot of the Hawks player’s first time in the playoffs and there were times they looked young and inexperienced. Gallo had the ability to score a big basket or a string of baskets to keep the Hawks in the game. This year may be different but we would like to see more of the same.

Gallo’s minutes may be cut into with the emergence of Jalen Johnson. Also, he may lose more if Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter stay healthy as well. As a result, he will have to be a vocal leader for this team. This is a long season and things can be rough sometimes but Gallo has seen it all and been through it before.

He really can have a big impact on and off the court for this team. His teammates know how important he has been and one example is in Game 7 against the 76ers. He was getting on his teammates and encouraging them in the huddle. That’s the leadership the Hawks need from Gallo this season.
