How the Atlanta Hawks wing rotation looks at the moment.
This has been the Hawks’ biggest concern for the past two seasons. De’Andre Hunter needs to get healthy and stay healthy if the team is going to get where they deserve to be. Reddish is probably going to start the game on the bench given the injury cloud hanging over him.
The problem for the Hawks is that Bogdanovic and Jalen Johnson are both out as well thanks to the health and safety protocols. This makes it very hard for the Hawks to have a great deal of depth at this position.
Fortunately, they have both Kevin Huerter and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot who have exited the protocols and will share most of the wing duties. As both players will probably start, with Huerter playing the shooting guard role, Reddish will be used across both forward roles, such is his versatility as required. Cameron Oliver has also performed strongly and could still get some time.
Another benefit for the Hawks is that they have the experience of Lou Williams who showed how valuable he is against the Cavaliers on his return. Delon Wright and Skylar Mays will also be used throughout the game as the Hawks love Wright’s defense and Mays’ play over the last six games should give him some minutes in the rotation.
