The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Miami Heat 115-91 on Wednesday in a divisional tilt that kicked off another trying stretch of games for the now 17-23 squad. Amid all of it, trade rumors have begun to swirl as they often do around teams with disappointing records.

Despite the possibility that their fluctuating health and availability are guiding factors, those rumors persist.

As such, we have taken a few swings at finding deals that would work for the Hawks and their trade partners, adjusting as new information becomes available.

One bit that has come out since all of this began is that the Sacramento Kings are making guards De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton available for “the right deal” with eyes on making a postseason push.

The Kings (17-27) are 11th in the West but just three games out of the play-in tournament.

One of the Hawks persistent issues the Hawks have had has been backup point guard. A storyline since he entered the league, the offense tends to go into the tank when Trae Young sits. Their offensive rating falls over 13 points per 100 possessions when he is on the bench, nearly double the fall in opponents’ offensive rating in the same situation.

This trade would solve the Atlanta Hawks playmaking and timeline issues

The Hawks have tried several options to find a solution, including Kris Dunn, Lou Williams, and now Delon Wright to little success. Wright brings a lot to the table but his $8.5 million price tag suggests he could be doing more.

This deal could be contingent upon the Hawks moving Wright or Bogdan Bogdanovic in a separate deal since both came from Sacramento and so as not to create another positional logjam.

But if it gets Haliburton in Atlanta, it would be well worth it.

With this in mind, we have come up with the trade proposal above that gives both the Hawks and Kings what they so desperately need by swapping Haliburton for Cam Reddish.
