Goals for Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins for the 2022 season: No.2) Become an All-Star.

Collins has been a borderline star for a number of seasons now. Unfortunately, when he had the season where he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds, the Hawks were not a good team. Then when they became a better team, Collins’ numbers dropped off.

He is still a highly skilled big man and can influence games in a major way. What he needs to do is to work out how he can help his team in the best way possible. This is how Draymond Green was able to become an All-Star. Yes, he is a good player but he does the little things that his team needs and it helps them win.

Collins is going to have a couple of All-Star guards himself this season, meaning that he is going to be freer to work. If the Hawks can have three All-Stars on their team it means that they are a contender in the Eastern Conference. This will be reminiscent of the glory days when the Hawks led the Eastern Conference.

Collins has the chance to rewrite the narrative which currently surrounds him. If he could do this then the Hawks will get value for money on their deal.
