Goals for Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young No. 2) Back up his All-Star nod.

Young has been an All-Star in two of his four NBA seasons. He missed out in his rookie year before being named in his second season. Then, in his third season, despite his numbers being almost as good as the previous season, Young was not named to an All-Star team.

This was not ideal as he would have been an All-Star at State Farm Arena which would have been special. Even when players pulled out through injury, the NBA did not put Young into the game. This was in spite of the Hawks turning their season around under new head coach Nate McMillan.

Then, last season, despite the Hawks struggling and his numbers being only slightly up, Young was named to his second All-Star team. He certainly deserved this nod, but it did not make any sense why he did not get the nod the previous season.

Young is one of the best players in the world right now. He is going to be an All-Star for many years. For him to get the recognition that he deserves, Young needs to become one of the first players voted in by the fans. This starts by getting named back-to-back to the All-Star team.
