3 goals for Atlanta Hawks big man Onyeka Okongwu No 3) Win the Sixth Man of the Year award.

This goal is directly tied to the last one. If Okongwu cannot earn the extra minutes required then he will not win the Sixth Man of the Year award. However, let us work under the assumption that he will garner the minutes required for the point of the exercise.

Okongwu is already playing at the level required to win the award but his stats are not there. It is hard to argue that a player who averages just over 20 minutes per game and less than 10 points and six rebounds per game should win the award over Tyler Herro.

It is also going to be a very difficult award to win as 10 of the last 11 winners have been guards. However, that is not to say that it is impossible. The only big man to win the award in the last 11 seasons was Montrezl Harrell whose shooting range at the time was inside the restricted area.

Next. Let's hope the Hawks don't have sellers regret. dark

Okongwu is also going to be competing with his own teammate Bogdan Bogdanovic as the Serbian Sharpshooter is a starter-level player coming off the bench. Still, I would not put it past the big man out of USC to achieve this. He is hungry and his skillset is growing with each passing season.
