Goals for Atlanta Hawks reserve point guard Aaron Holiday No. 3) Shoot 40.0 percent from 3-point territory.

One of the joys of Aaron Holiday is that he is an underrated player who has the ability to do a great many things. As he has never been a star or, with the exception of his second year with the Indiana Pacers, a regular role player, he is often overlooked as part of opposition scouting.

While he has averaged more than 3.0 assists per game with two teams, his per 36 numbers for steals are telling. He has never averaged less than 1.2 steals per 36 in any season he has played in the league. However, if he is going to make it onto the floor for the Hawks, he needs to be an elite shooter.

The only time that Holiday has hit more than 40 percent from beyond the arc was last season with the Phoenix Suns. He hit 44.4 percent of his 1.6 attempts from the deep, with 68.8 percent of these made on catch-and-shoot attempts.

This is a massive uptick from his numbers for the rest of his career, where he has gone at 35.7 percent from behind the long line. The difference is that he was receiving the ball from one of the greatest passers in the history of basketball. Now that he has Young and Murray passing the ball to him. Holiday has the chance to continue this tremendous shooting.
