The Atlanta Hawks will be looking for the month of February to come around after January, which will test their status as contenders. Fortunately for the Hawks’ they have an easy start to the season in October, followed by a difficult November. December gives the Hawks a chance to improve their record before the abovementioned January.

February brings with it the All-Star game and with it most of the team gets to have a rest. Hopefully, for the Hawks, they will see both Dejounte Murray and Trae Young play in the mid-season spectacular, as the team is, hopefully, having a winning season.

Given the challenges that the Hawks are going to face prior to the All-Star break, the end of February also cannot come quickly enough. The Hawks play their first four games on the road for the month as part of a five-game road trip that started at the end of January. The Hawks only have five road games for the month so they cannot wait to get these first four over.

The Atlanta Hawks have an interesting schedule for the month of February

The Hawks play 11 games for the month. As mentioned earlier, the Hawks play five games away which means that they play six at home. Given that their first four road games for the month are against Western Conference opponents, they are always more likely to play more teams from the West. They play six Western Conference teams and only five Eastern Conference teams.

The Hawks also have four games at the end of the month where they are at home. This homestand finishes with a game in March meaning that they will have five on their home floor. This means that after the All-Star break the Hawks do not travel until March.

They also only have one back-to-back set of games where they are away to the Utah Jazz and then the Denver Nuggets which is on their road trip. The Hawks also play six games against teams that were in the playoffs last season, including the Phoenix Suns who they play twice.
