Goals for Atlanta Hawks big man Frank Kaminsky for the season No. 2) Crash the boards.

One of the traits that the Hawks centers’ have in spades is their energy. Clint Capela led the league in rebounds two seasons ago. This was when the Hawks had such a successful season once they parted ways with their head coach Lloyd Pierce.

On top of that, Okongwu plays both ends with a level of passion and energy which makes him almost an irrepressible force. This is why both of these players hit the court and have an impact on the game when they get there.

While both of these players are well above average defensively, Kaminsky is not. As a result, he needs to make sure that he has a skill that helps the team on the defensive end of the court. As the old adage says, the defensive possession is not over until the rebound has been collected.

Kaminsky is not a bad rebounder when he hits the floor. He has collected 5.6 rebounds per 36 minutes over his career. If he shows that he can bring a high level of energy to the court every time that he hits the floor then he might get more playing time.
