Goals for Atlanta Hawks big man Frank Kaminsky for the season No. 3) Take some of Danilo Gallinari’s role.

While Kaminsky does not have the same level of ball or body control as Danilo Gallinari, Frank the Tank has the chance to emulate the big Italian. If Kaminsky can shoot the ball at a high level from the perimeter then there is a good chance that the ball will go through his hands a lot.

He does not have the same ability to create a mismatch as Gallinari. However, if works solidly on his post-game then there is a good chance that he will be able to use his shooting stroke to create these mismatches and then shoot over smaller defenders.

However, Gallinari was not just a scorer, the whole offense of the second unit ran through him, to put it simply, he was the most important member of the second unit. However, Kaminsky does not have the same abilities as Gallinari so he cannot take this role.

Fortunately for the Hawks’ they have two elite playmakers in Trae Young and Dejounte Murray meaning that the creative part of Gallinari’s role is not as needed. Kaminsky needs to be a good floor-spacer, crash the board and play the best defense that he can. This should be enough for the Hawks to see this signing as an effective one.
