2. Zion Williamson

Zion has struggled to stay healthy in his first four years, but seeing his name pop up in the rumors was shocking. The 23-year-old has been one of the best players in the league when healthy, but he is averaging just 28.5 games per season so far. Can he stay on the court and make the Pelicans a contender?

This is a make-or-break year in New Orleans. They have a ton of young talent, but there are fit questions. Can they be true title contenders with Zion and Brandon Ingram as their two best players? Do the Pelicans need a center upgrade? Is a starting point guard needed? Those are all questions that need answering.

If Williamson has another injury, New Orleans may look to move on. They will want a massive haul for Zion, but it could be the move that makes the Hawks title contenders. Williamson is a unique talent, who could be the best player on a title team. Keeping him on the floor won’t be easy, but acquiring a true number one is rare opportunity.

Zion Williamson would have to improve his defense to be the perfect fit in Atlanta. He has plenty of athletic ability and strength, so it could just be a case of him putting it all together. Could that happen with the Hawks playing next to Trae Young? Atlanta might prefer a more defensive-minded star option at the four.
