With media day on tap for October 2, the Atlanta Hawks are joining the rest of the NBA in gearing up for the regular season.

We have already gone over the full 82-game regular season schedule, complete with the preseason and In-Season Tournament slate. But, on the heels of Bally Sports announcing their full slate of games, it is a good time to lay out which networks will be broadcasting each game this season.

Atlanta Hawks 2023-24 nationally televised game schedule

As noted in their full schedule, the Hawks have just five nationally televised games (non-NBA TV) next season. That is tied with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves for the fourth-fewest in the league, though there are 10 teams with fewer. For context, the Golden State Warriors lead the way with 28 games while eight teams received just one.

Hawks 2023-24 nationally televised game schedule (all times Eastern)

– vs. Philadelphia 76ers – January 10 – ESPN @ 7:30 PM
– vs. San Antonio Spurs – January 15 – TNT @ 3:30 PM
– at Boston Celtics – February 7 – ESPN @ 7:30 PM
– at New York Knicks – March 5 – TNT @ 7:30 PM
– at Memphis Grizzlies – March 8 – ESPN @ 7:30 PM

Technically, the Hawks have 18 nationally televised games including their 13 NBA TV matchups next season. But the bigger note, as far as such games are concerned, is that just two of them will come at him in State Farm Arena.

The Hawks add just five more adding those NBA TV games into the equation, all of which is notable given they were 24-17 at home last season but 17-24 on the road.

They were 4-6 on the road after head coach Quin Snyder took over.

Bally Sports Southeast announces Hawks’ local television schedule

Bally Sports Southeast announced they will broadcast 80 regular season games next season, beginning with the opener on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on October 25 and concluding on the road versus the Indiana Pacers on April 14.

The network will also carry the Hawks’ preseason contests, starting with the opener versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and finishing on the road with the New Orleans Pelicans on October 14.

Bally, it seems, will not carry the Hawks’ final two In-Season Tournament contests.

Atlanta is in group East A for the In-Season Tournament. They will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Philadelphia 76ers in their first four contests starting on November 14 and running through November 28.

– November 14 @ Detroit Pistons
– November 17 vs Philadelphia 76ers
– November 21 vs Indiana Pacers
– November 28 @ Cleveland Cavaliers
