The Atlanta Hawks have lost four straight games, and the vibes have started to sour. They entered their latest three-game homestand above .500 and left it with a 22-23 record.

Following a loss to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, the Hawks dropped a tough one to the Pistons at home before losing back-to-back matchups with the 12-32 Raptors. Needless to say, consecutive losses to the No. 13 seed in the East is not an ideal way to ring in the season’s midway point.

During their current four-game skid, three different Hawks streaks have ended. From broken team streaks to broken longtime streaks for individual players, Atlanta’s latest slump has not gone as planned. Jalen Johnson’s new shoulder injury certainly doesn’t help either.

Here are the 3 Hawks streaks that ended during Atlanta’s last four games

1) Trae Young’s streak of games with five or more assists

Heading into Atlanta’s second Toronto loss, Trae Young had recorded five or more assists in 202 straight games. The last time Ice Trae dropped fewer than five dimes was a January 22 win over the Hornets back in 2022.

Young has had the best playmaking season of his career, averaging a league-high 11.5 assists. Unfortunately, the All-Star point guard was playing through a hamstring injury in his latest dud. He will miss Atlanta’s next contest against good friend Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With Young sidelined, the Hawks will have to lean on the playmaking of Dyson Daniels and two-way standout Keaton Wallace. Last time Young missed a game, Wallace exploded for a career-high 27 points in a shocking win over the Chicago Bulls.

2) Bogdan Bogdanovic’s streak of games with one made 3-pointer

It is no secret that Bogdan Bogdanovic has had the worst season of his career. Dealing with injury after injury, Bogi Buckets has not been able to replicate much of what Hawks fans expected after his epic Olympics run.

Despite his early-season struggles, the Serbian sharpshooter had still maintained a longtime streak of 110 games with a made 3-pointer. Until Atlanta’s loss to New York.

Bogdanovic had 1 point on 0-for-4 shooting against one of the Hawks’ biggest rivals, ending his streak of made threes. He followed that up with an 0-for-9 night in his next game against Detroit.

On the bright side, Bogdanovic responded to his ice-cold 0-for-13 stretch with his best scoring night of the season. In the first half of the Raptors back-to-back, Bogi gave Toronto buckets with 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting.

The Serb still hasn’t found the long-range consistency that has made him such a deep threat during his Hawks tenure. Atlanta will need him to figure it out in time for a potentially crucial stretch run after the All-Star break.

3) Atlanta’s three-game winning streak

The most obvious streak that ended for Atlanta was a run of three straight wins heading into the New York loss. The Hawks had rattled off back-to-back-to-back wins over the Suns, Bulls, and Celtics.

Atlanta desperately needs to continue its winning ways. The rest of the Eastern Conference has stepped up its game as of late. With teams like Detroit and Indiana picking up steam, the Hawks won’t want to get left behind.

8 of Atlanta’s next 10 opponents before the All-Star break have winning records. These next ten games could prove pivotal in testing the Hawks’ toughness and consistency. Quin Snyder and his squad will need to get back on track before they have some time off in February.
