Best NBA prop bets today for Hawks vs. Knicks (Hammer this Dejounte Murray prop)

Breaking down the best prop bets for the Atlanta Hawks' matchup with the New York Knicks on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Hawks are still without All-Star guard Trae Young, but they may face an extremely shorthanded New York Knicks team that won’t have OG Anunoby, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson on Tuesday and has listed Jalen Brunson as questionable.

Brunson was injured early on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and did not return with what the team is calling a knee contusion.

Since Brunson’s status is up in the air, there are very few Knicks props available for this game. So, why not wager on the Hawks, who find themselves set as short underdogs at Madison Square Garden?

Here are my two favorite Hawks props on Tuesday night:

Hawks vs. Knicks best NBA prop bets

  • Dejounte Murray OVER 14.5 rebounds and assists
  • Saddiq Bey OVER 1.5 3-pointers made

Dejounte Murray OVER 14.5 rebounds and assists

Since Young went down, Dejounte Murray has cleared this prop in three of four games, averaging 6.3 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game over that stretch.

With New York’s offense limited even if Brunson plays, there should be plenty of rebound opportunities for Murray. Plus, the Hawks point guard is averaging 14.2 potential assists per game in his last five matchups.

He’s worth a bet at plus money to clear this on Tuesday.

Saddiq Bey OVER 1.5 3-pointers made

Saddiq Bey has made multiple shots from beyond the arc in nine of his last 11 games, averaging 2.3 made 3-balls on 5.7 attempts per game (39.7 percent) over that stretch.

New York ranks 20th in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage this season, and Bey hit 2-of-5 shots from beyond the arc in his last meeting against the Knicks.

As long as he keeps attempting five or more shots from deep – which Bey has done in 10 of his last 11 games – he’s a good bet to go OVER this number.
