The Atlanta Hawks have battled a ton of adversity through the 2023-2024 season, but the team is poised to make at the very least the Play-In Tournament, meaning the team can still make the postseason.

Despite injuries to key players throughout the season, trade rumors around its foundational building blocks, the Hawks are still alive for a shot at the top eight seeds in the Eastern Conference, albeit slim ones.

While there is still time for Trae Young to return from his finger injury, he still seems far away from returning to the floor, per the latest update from the Hawks, but Atlanta has been doing just fine with Dejounte Murray in control of the ball more.

The Hawks are jockeying ofr position with the Chicago Bulls for who will likely host the single elimination game between the two in the 9/10 seed matchup of the Play-In Tournament. The winner would face the loser of the 7/8 seed game that will feature a grouping of the 76ers, Heat, Pacers or Magic (most likely).

It's a long shot, but the Hawks have some life, and possibly momentum behind Murray, who averaged nearly 27 points, five rebounds and nine assists in the month of March. Here's the team's odds to make the postseason.
