Joining the long list of forwards to work out with the Atlanta Hawks is Clemson’s Jaron Blossomgame.

Per report, Jaron Blossomgame has a workout scheduled with the Hawks in the near future with the 2017 NBA Draft just ten days away. He is viewed by many as a mid-to-high second rounder, and a potential steal there.

Blossomgame enjoyed a marvelous four-year career with the Clemson Tigers. He emerged as the team’s best player for his junior and senior seasons, and solidified himself as one of the best players in Clemson’s history. Over his last two seasons he averaged 18.1 points per game on 50.5% from the field and 35% from three.

Blossomgame has Georgia roots in him as well. He was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia and played high school basketball at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia. He also had a funny mishap with the Hawks a year ago. When the team was announcing the selection of DeAndre Bembry in the 2016 NBA Draft they accidentally used a picture of Jaron Blossomgame instead of Bembry.

All that aside, Blossomgame is a brilliant scorer that can excel as a small forward or power forward. With exceptional athleticism and floor spacing ability, Blossomgame offers a versatile offensive impact on the floor. Expect his workout with Atlanta to be a good one.
