February 22nd, Warriors @ Hawks
At the end of February, the defending champs come to town. Steph Curry and company are a basketball machine hell-bent on destroying the world. So, that’s always fun.
April 13th, Hawks @ Wizards
The final day of the regular season! The Hawks will either be resting their starters, with their seeding already decided, battling for seeding or even a playoff spot, or playing out the string as they figure out where they are going to go golfing after exit interviews. I’d assume that last scenario will not be in play. With the playoffs coming this will be their chance to redeem themselves after last season’s disappointing ending.
Alright, we have around two months to prepare ourselves for the nine month rollercoaster that is the NBA season. Two months is way too long. Time to crank up Hardwood Classics on NBA TV. I’ll see you in October.
