The Head Coach

A. Mike Budenholzer had a few cards missing from his deck this afternoon, but he found a way to make it work. His solution for playing a back-to-back with a shorthanded roster? Give every available player minutes! The Hawks deployed a 10 man rotation in this one, with some interesting pairings. Taurean Prince got minutes, Mike Scott finally saw some playing time, it was an adventure. His decision to lean heavily on Kris Humphries proved to be wise. Humphries was huge, especially on the glass. He probably would have liked to get Paul Millsap a bit more rest, Millsap played 39 minutes, but with the game so close late in the fourth quarter that was impossible.. Head Coach. Atlanta Hawks. MIKE BUDENHOLZER
