Atlanta Hawks Headlines: Reaction To Charlotte Loss
Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back with reaction to Atlanta’s disappointing loss to the Charlotte Hornets. It was their fourth loss in a row.
Through the months of January and February, Atlanta Hawks Headlines was a wonderful place filled with winnings, exciting trade rumors, and an overall positive outlook on the Hawks. How the times have changed.
The Atlanta Hawks have now lost four consecutive games. Their record is 37-33 and they are just three games ahead of the ninth place Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings. I wouldn’t blame Hawks fans if they started to panic.
Paul Millsap is out at least one more game and who knows when Kent Bazemore will return. Could Atlanta actually miss the playoffs? Can they turn things around in time to make the playoffs and then actually make noise in the postseason?
There are more questions than answers at the moment. Let’s take a look at today’s links. Most articles are focused on Atlanta’s disappointing loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

Who Should be the Atlanta Hawks’ Backup Point Guard?
Tyler Sellers asks who should be Atlanta’s backup point guard for the rest of the season. Malcolm Delaney has had an up and down season, but he is a much better defender than the recently acquired Jose Calderon. Calderon is a good shooter and passer, but at 36-years-old Calderon’s best days are behind. Both players have significant strengths and serious weaknesses. Lately Mike Budenholzer has decided to work Delaney back into the rotation. His poor performance against Charlotte could change that.

It’s still unlikely, but if Millsap doesn’t return soon the team could be in trouble.
