Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back. The 2016-17 NBA regular season has come to a close. The playoffs are on the horizon.

The regular season is over. The Atlanta Hawks are headed to the NBA Playoffs for the 10th consecutive season. The Hawks have finished as the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. They’ll play the 4th seeded Washington Wizards in the first round.

The first game of the series will be played on Sunday, April 16th at 1:00 PM in Washington. Washington won three out of the four games these two teams played in the regular season. The matchup isn’t exactly desirable, but anyone that doesn’t think the Hawks have a chance is kidding themselves.

The Hawks wrapped up their regular season adventure last night against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers needed a win to guarantee them a spot in the playoffs (assuming the Bulls and Heat also won). Atlanta had nothing to play for. The Hawks lost to Indiana, finishing the season 43-39.
