On the latest installment of Atlanta Hawks Headlines, the Hawks prepare for a busy summer filled with talk of free agents, draft picks, summer league, and more.

The NBA Playoffs are heating up, but they no longer include the Atlanta Hawks. That doesn’t mean things will quiet down for the Hawks. This summer will be even busier than usual for Atlanta. There are several personnel decisions to be made and the team could choose to go in a variety of different directions.

Will they start a rebuild? Will they keep their core together and add veteran pieces that can help them win next season? Will they keep the core together but also attempt to get younger?

The Hawks have seven impending free agents, including two players from their postseason starting five. Paul Millsap, Tim Hardaway Jr., Mike Muscala, Ersan Ilyasova, Kris Humphries, Thabo Sefolosha, and Jose Calderon could all be in a different uniform next season. The Hawks will likely try to retain of few of these players, Millsap and Haradway especially, but the possibility exists that this team could look very different in 2017-18.

We won’t know for sure until the free agency period begins in July. For now, let the speculation run wild.
