Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back with discussion on the playoff performances of Atlanta’s individual players, more talk about the future of Atlanta’s front office, and more.

Welcome back to Atlanta Hawks Headlines. Hawks Headlines is like the neighborhood tree-house all the cool kids used to congregate in when you were growing up. Well, it’s like that if the kids in that tree-house talked about the Hawks.

Hawks Headlines is the place to go for the latest Hawks news, opinion, and analysis. If it’s on the internet and it’s Atlanta Hawks related, you’ll find it here. Things have been pretty quiet lately.

The Hawks are well into the off-season and find themselves immersed in the search for their next general manager. Only three names haves surfaced so far, so there isn’t much to discuss. Once the NBA Playoffs wrap-up I imagine things will begin to heat up.

Power Ranking Every Atlanta Hawks Player During the 2017 Playoffs

Nile Goodwyn ranks the performance of every Hawk during the 2017 Playoffs. The Hawks lost their first round series to the Washington Wizards in six games. They couldn’t win Game 6 at home to force a Game 7 in Washington D.C. Overall, it was a disappointing postseason, but there were some outstanding individual performances. Goodwyn’s top five playoff performers were Kent Bazemore, Taurean Prince, Dwight Howard, Paul Millsap, and Dennis Schroder.

From the Detroit Free Press, Vince Ellis reports on Joe Dumars‘ comments about being linked to the Atlanta Hawks GM job. Dumars says it’s an honor to be associated with any NBA job. It would be a surprise if Dumars were hired by the Hawks.

Timberwolves Free Agency: Atlanta Hawks Edition

Ben Beecken at Dunking With Wolves ranks the Hawks free agents that he would like to see the Minnesota Timberwolves attempt to sign. Paul Millsap tops the list, though, Millsap ending up in Minnesota seems extremely unlikely.
