Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back to look at Atlanta’s GM search, delve into a few more player reviews, and much more.

Welcome to another installment of Atlanta Hawks Headlines. Hawks Headlines is the place to find the latest Hawks news, opinion, and analysis. Last night was lottery night! The NBA Draft lottery was held in New York City on Tuesday evening. The fate of an organization can be decided by the bounce of a ping-pong ball. Scary stuff.

It was not an interesting event for Hawks fans. The Hawks made the playoffs for the 10th consecutive season, so they were not in the lottery. That’s a good thing and a bad thing.

Atlanta will pick 19th, 31st, and 60th in the 2017 NBA Draft. Draft night is almost one month away. Despite Atlanta’s uncertain general manager search, they are still focused on the draft.  Will they pick a ready-made player or a project? Will they take something in between? We’ll see!

Adrian Wojnarowski at The Vertical reports that the Hawks are considering several people for their GM opening. Brent Barry, Chauncey Billups, Mark Hughes, and Gersson Rosas are the names Wojnarowski added to the mix. Joe Dumars, David Griffin, and Troy Weaver had previously reported.
