The latest installment of Atlanta Hawks Headlines brings more talk about the NBA Draft, reports on Atlanta’s GM search, and more.

Welcome back to the cozy cocoon that is Atlanta Hawks Headlines. Hawks Headlines is the best place on the internet to find a roundup of the latest Hawks news, analysis, and opinion.

As we’ve stated several times over the last few weeks, Hawks news is rather slow at the moment. The NBA Playoffs appear to be headed towards Warriors-Cavaliers round three, so most of the focus from casual NBA fans is on that inevitable showdown.

It’s no secret that the Atlanta Hawks were one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the NBA last season. Drafting Luke Kennard with the 19th overall pick would help fix some of their outside shooting issues. Of course, it’s entirely possible that Kennard will be selected before the Hawks pick.

Marc Stein of ESPN reports that the Hawks have interviewed Tommy Sheppard and Travis Schlenk for their open front office position. Sheppard is currently employed by the Washington Wizards, while Schlenk works for the Golden State Warriors.
