David Blatt

Former Cavs coach David Blatt recently showed interest in a return to the NBA, and if he does return, Atlanta should be interested. Blatt went 83-40 in his short tenure in Cleveland, and helped lead them to the NBA Finals.

As with seemingly every former NBA coach, Blatt has been linked to the Knicks opening, and if the Knicks go with someone else, Blatt’s return to the NBA could land him in Atlanta.

Blatt definitely didn’t get the job he signed up for in Cleveland, and with LeBron coming home just a month after Blatt became head coach, he was never able to get full control of the team. Atlanta’s young and currently “star-less” team could be intriguing for someone who really just wants to leave a mark in the NBA.
