While this might be an unorthodox choice to start this list, Vince Carter still commands a ton of attention on and off the basketball court.

His clout levels are still undeniable, as anyone who has performed this dunk should be able to get a free lunch from any basketball fan worldwide (except maybe in France):

Perhaps Vinsanity’s heady days of vaulting over a seven-footer are over, but because this will likely be VC’s swan song in the NBA after an astonishing 21 seasons of service in the league, almost everything he does will be noteworthy. Even a relatively pedestrian (for a first-ballot future Hall of Famer) post move and jumper in the preseason led to oohs and aahs from the Atlanta Hawks bench.

Though Carter will turn 42 during the course of the season, the sheer magnitude of Carter’s star power and the incredible body of work through his career means that almost everything he does will be exciting for Atlanta Hawks fans next season.

Frankly, the season can’t get here soon enough.
