While obtaining Fultz in any trade with the 76ers while also nabbing a first round pick would be a complete joy, it seems like a stretch to think that Philly will immediately turn around and ship him out after (or even before) he returns from thoracic outlet syndrome.

This deal should make it fairly easy for the 76ers to send back a juicy draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks. In return, Atlanta gets exclusively expiring money and a flyer on young big Justin Patton. In addition, Furkan Korkmaz once dropped 40 points in a Summer League game, so perhaps he can play a little bit on a Hawks team that will not be looking to win many games down the end of the season.

Sure, both Dedmon and Lin are also expiring, but this is the kind of deal in which an unprotected pick might have to be included coming back to Atlanta. Lin and Dedmon would upgrade the team in a big way with players that have both played in big-time playoff moments in their careers, which is something that Philly would likely value.

No matter what happens, watch this space as the Atlanta Hawks are sure to make a deal here soon with their bevy of veterans just waiting to make it to a contending team and impact winning in a major way – even if they have all been fun to watch this year in Atlanta.
