Not only did the team add three high-level prospects via the 2019 NBA Draft, including two top 10 picks in De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish, the team also pulled off multiple trades and signings that left only five holdovers from the team’s roster last season.

Gone are familiar faces such as Dewayne Dedmon and Kent Bazemore and in are new signings such as Jabari Parker and Brandon Goodwin.
One area where the Hawks have a glut of options is in the backcourt. While we’ve already covered the point guard depth chart for the team, which will surely be monopolized by the ascendant Trae Young, the shooting guard position is a different story.
Though certainly Kevin Huerter should be the utterly entrenched starter with no end in sight for his role as the team’s starting two guard, behind him there are multiple questions about who will take up his mantle when he heads to the bench.
