Three studs the Atlanta Hawks could trade their top pick for.

The Atlanta Hawks are ready to win. They showed their hand earlier this season by acquiring Clint Capela at the deadline, and look to finish off their rebuild with a busy off-season. No NBA team will enter free agency with more cap space than Atlanta, and they’ll have a top draft pick to boot.

They currently own the 4th-best lottery odds and could be making a top-five selection for the third year in a row. While we have been covering many prospects the Hawks could take with that pick, they could certainly trade that pick as well to take a player who’s more “win-now.”

Atlanta has a roster already full of young talent and adding another young project could be detrimental to their ability to make the playoffs next season.

Obviously the list of players who are great enough to be traded straight up for a top-five pick is not that long, and most aren’t on the block. They are some stars the Hawks could acquire by trading the pick, which we’ll be taking a look at here.
