All Former Atlanta Hawks in Orlando:

Taurean Prince – Brooklyn Nets

The first-year Net will get his first shot at the playoffs since his rookie season a year after leaving the Atlanta Hawks via trade.

Tim Hardaway Jr – Dallas Mavericks

Tim Hardaway Jr spent two years in Atlanta, putting up good numbers in one of them. He was underrated during his time as a Hawk.

DeMarre Carroll – Houston Rockets

DeMarre Carroll was a great glue guy for the Hawks during his brief, two-year stint with the team. He started this season with the Spurs and joined the Rockets after a buyout.

Thabo Sefolosha – Houston Rockets

Thabo Sefolosha and DeMarre Carroll were briefly teammates in Atlanta, and they are reunited on the Houston bench. Sefolosha has averaged 10.6 minutes per game for the Rockets this season.

Justin Holiday – Indiana Pacers

Amazingly, Justin Holiday has played for seven teams in his seven-year career. Atlanta was the third stop on his list in 2012, with Holiday playing in 26 games for the team. He’s since become a solid role player.

Lou Williams – Los Angeles Clippers

More from Soaring Down South

Lou Williams served as the Hawks’ sixth man from 2012-2014, the team barely his true breakout season in 2015 with the Raptors.

Dwight Howard – Los Angeles Lakers

Dwight has been doing an unofficial tour of NBA locker rooms of late. He hasn’t been on the same team in back-to-back seasons since ’14-’15, with the Hawks being blessed by his grace in 2016-2017. He’s had a mini resurgence in L.A this year.

Marvin Williams – Milwaukee Bucks

Although the Hawks’ former second-overall pick didn’t quite work out in Atlanta, Marvin Williams has found success as a veteran in this league. He was a hot buyout target out of Charlotte in February and was eventually scooped by the Bucks. He played 11 games for them before the hiatus hit.

Mike Muscala – OKC Thunder

MOOSE! Muscala was a fan favorite in Atlanta from 2013-2018. After uninspiring stints in Philly and L.A, Moose has found a home in OKC, looking more like the player he was with the Hawks.

Dennis Schörder – OKC Thunder

Dennis Schröder has only improved since leaving Atlanta and has seemed to found his calling as a high-volume sixth man. His efforts of backing up Chris Paul this season may earn him Sixth Man of the Year honors.

Mike Scott – Philadelphia 76ers

Another former fan favorite, Mike Scott has improved since leaving the ATL, becoming a key role player on the Sixers for the past few seasons.

Carmelo Anthony – Portland Trail Blazers

I’m Kidding. Kind of.

Kent Bazemore – Sacramento Kings

The Baze Gaze will be making it’s way to Orlando, as will the rest of the Sacramento Kings who are surprisingly loaded with former Hawks.

Alex Len – Sacramento Kings

Alex Len was traded just a few months ago for Dewayne Dedmon. During his time in Atlanta, the former fifth-overall pick was solid enough and one of the only Hawks you could call a plus-defender.

Jabari Parker – Sacramento Kings

Jabari Parker was included in that same trade with Alex Len, ending his Hawks career with a total of 32 games played. He played just one game with the Kings before play was halted.

Marco Belinelli – San Antonio Spurs

Marco Belinelli was brought to Atlanta in part of the trade that sent Dwight Howard out. The 34-year-old guard is still going strong in San Antonio, shooting 36 percent from three.
