Atlanta Hawks bold prediction No. 1) They will make a deep playoff run

The Hawks have been playing the right way since interim coach Nate McMillan took over. As a result, they find themselves in a battle for the final home playoff seed. If the Hawks are able to finish where they are, then this bodes well for a deep playoff run.

With luck, they will get some of their key players back from injury. John Collins is due back within the week, De’Andre Hunter will be due back soon after undergoing another non-surgical procedure on his troublesome knee.

Cam Reddish is still out with Achilles soreness and Kris Dunn is yet to play a game this season. Hopefully, the Hawks will get them back in time to work them back into fitness and into the rotation so they can be effective players on the court.

If the Hawks can finish in the top four of the Eastern Conference and get these players back to full fitness before the playoffs, they will make some serious noise in the postseason. Lou Williams has taken care of the offensive production when Trae Young rests and the whole Hawks outfit are primed to take on all comers.
