The Hawks welcomed Trae Young and Tony Snell back into their lineup after both players missed time with ankle injuries. Young was incredible in a return game scoring 32 points on 10-of-19 shooting and going a perfect 10-of-10 from the line. His timing was a little out at a few points during the game but it was a good hit out.

Snell did what he does best. He was solid on defense and hit 2-of-4 from deep, collecting four rebounds and even dishing out three assists. However, it was another player who came back that should give the Hawks great hope.

Kris Dunn returned for the Hawks against the Detroit Pistons in the second night of a back-to-back. He has now played three games and has shown Hawks fans why the team signed him in the offseason. His defensive prowess has been outstanding and he is learning the Hawks systems, be it in restricted minutes.

As he is able to play more games and play more time in these games, Dunn is going to be even better for the Hawks. This is going to be tremendous for when the Hawks get even more players back. When the playoffs come around Dunn will be especially crucial as defense wins games as much as offense.
