Atlanta Hawks fans have not yet had the full Kris Dunn experience as a member of this team. He has played in a handful of games but has yet to show his true defensive prowess this season. It was a little surprising that he did not play in the final games against the Houston Rockets to get some game time under his belt before the playoffs.
There is a chance that coach Nate McMillan is keeping him out of the lineup until he can practice with the team. The other option is that there has been a lingering issue with his ankle which we have not heard about, which is unlikely given how open the team has been with this information..
However, if he does make it back for playoff action, he will lock down his opposition guard, making it very difficult for them to get any consistent offense. Dunn is one of the most amazing defensive guards in the game.
While Bogdanovic has been playing amazing defense as well as shooting the lights out. However, when he needs a break, instead of putting Lou Williams into the game, coach McMillan could insert Dunn to change the momentum of the game.
