Atlanta Hawks players who can’t disappear No. 1) Lou Williams

During the season the Hawks upgraded their bench by sending Rajon Rondo to the LA Clippers. In return, they received Lou Williams whose ability to create instant offense has helped the Hawks solidify their fourth quarters as well as the non-Trae Young minutes.

Williams has not yet produced at the level that is expected of him this offseason. However, this is not the fault of Williams, he has only played 11.8 minutes per game which is less than the 21.0 minutes per game that he played in the regular season.

He is shooting the ball at 45.8 percent from the floor, and 50.0 percent from deep. He has yet to miss a free throw. Williams is giving out 2.0 assists per game in the time that he is on the floor. So, as the numbers show, he is not off the floor because of not playing well.

He is getting so few minutes on the floor due to Young playing incredible basketball. Williams has come on the court and continued to lead the Hawks forward. Without his input, the Knicks would possibly be level in the series, or even up, such is his importance. He cannot disappear for the rest of the playoffs.
