As mentioned earlier, the Atlanta Hawks signed Bogdanovic to a four-year, $72 million dollar deal. After the first nine games of the season, you would have been forgiven for wanting to trade this deal away, afraid it would become a stone around the Hawks neck.
Well, thankfully for the Hawks and Bogdanovic, he turned all that around. He responded to the difference in style of Nate McMillan and with Trae Young became one of the best backcourts in the entire league. It would be nice if he could get closer to 20 points per game next season.

Considering there was a point where the Hawks season was almost entirely on Bogdanovic’s shoulders. How did he respond? Well, the Hawks gained some momentum when he was the lead playmaker so that when Trae Young came back they were in the position to qualify for the playoffs in the fifth seed.
He struggled with a knee injury at the start of the season and then he had knee soreness during the playoffs. Up until the Hawks were eliminated, Bogdanovic led the playoffs in steals, having an impact on the game even when his show was not falling.
