Atlanta Hawks season highlights for Brandon Goodwin

As mentioned earlier, Goodwin had some really good games last season, especially when his team needed him to step up the most. The first game where Goodwin shone was against the Philadelphia 76ers when the team was missing a lot of their stars.

There were two reasons Goodwin got the court time this game. Both coaches went to their second units early in the second half as the game was down. However, in the game against the Charlotte Hornets two contests earlier, Goodwin came on and helped spark the Hawks comeback which fell just a little short.

Then there were the two games in the middle of April that Goodwin started when Trae Young was out through injury. The Hawks won both the games against the Hornets and the Toronto Raptors. These were two crucial games for the playoff race and while Bogdan Bogdanovic got most of the credit for the wins, Goodwin was huge.

He averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 37.1 minutes per game. He was incredible, showing that there is some true potential in his game, especially when the pressure was on.
