The Atlanta Hawks media day opened with general manager Landry Fields taking questions from the assembled media. One of those questions was as to the health of the team. He basically said that the entire team was good to go with the exception of Bogdan Bogdanovic.

For those who may be unaware, Bogdanovic had a procedure over the offseason on his knee which caused him to miss three months. This meant that he was not able to represent his home country of Serbia in EuroBasket as he was rehabilitating.

Still, with less than a month left until the regular season starts, the goal of the Hawks is to have him ready for when the season starts in anger. While it would be nice to see Bogdanovic play in some of the preseason games after going through training camp, the regular season needs to be the priority.

The Atlanta Hawks will be able to work Bogdan Bogdanovic easily into their rotations.

The positive part of Bogdanovic being a veteran and a returning player is that he will be able to work his way back into the rotation really easily. As a veteran, he will know where he is to go on the floor so that he can be a good option. It may take Murray a couple of games to make sure that he is on the same page but that is about all.

As a player, Bogdanovic has vowed to come back and have his best season yet. He has the talent to come off the bench and win the sixth man of the year award and if he does this then the Hawks are going to have a deep playoff run.

Next. It is all too quiet on the De'Andre Hunter front. dark

The Hawks have set the goal that he is going to be healthy for the start of the regular season. If he can do this and then have the season he wants, it is going to be a fun time in Atlanta.
