7. Jakob Poeltl (Center)

If the Hawks decide to move on from Capela, Jakob Poeltl could offer a lower-cost alternative. Poeltl’s rebounding and defensive skills make him a valuable asset, even though he may not contribute much in terms of scoring. His presence would significantly bolster the team’s defense.

8. P.J. Washington (Forward, Restricted)

Nowadays, Washington is mostly known for being catfished by an Instagram clout demon. People forget that he is a killer still, and even though he is a restricted free agent, I believe that the Hawks could pursue, and eventually sign him to a contract this offseason.

While prying P.J. Washington away from the Charlotte Hornets may prove to be challenging, the versatile defender’s shooting and playmaking abilities make him an intriguing prospect for the Hawks. His potential fit within the team’s system could make him a valuable replacement should John Collins or Capela’s contracts be moved.

9. Rui Hachimura (Forward, Restricted)

This one is a stretch honestly, but Hachimura finally proved what he can do on the court.
Although it is unlikely that the Los Angeles Lakers would let Rui Hachimura go, the young forward’s impact as a defender and spot-up shooter is noteworthy. If the Hawks have the necessary cap space, Hachimura could serve as an interesting replacement for John Collins, bringing a different skill set to the team.

10. Naz Reid (Center)

It’s insane to me how this guy makes the NBA top 10 on a weekly basis. He has game.
Naz Reid‘s undersized stature may limit his defensive capabilities, but his shooting and floor-spacing abilities could make him a valuable asset for the Hawks. Reid’s agility and quickness make him a challenging player to guard, and his potential partnership with Trae Young in pick-and-roll situations could be a game-changer for the team.
