The Atlanta Hawks have suffered two losses in the last two games. When he was asked, Nate McMillan was pretty sure that he was going to continue with the same starting five and the same rotations because they have worked for him.

This was in direct response to the coach being asked whether Cam Reddish would get into the rotation over the rest of the playoffs. There is a case that can be made either way. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been incredible for the Hawks.

He saved their season when Trae Young was out and continued his hot shooting up until his knee injury in the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Philadelphia 76ers. This has impacted his ability to perform at the highest level in the conference finals.

The Atlanta Hawks have seen a decline in Bogdan Bogdaonvic’s shooting.

More from Soaring Down South

In the six games since his injury, Bogdanovic has struggled. He has connected on 15 of the 56 shot attempts he has taken. This is good for only 26.7 percent from the floor which is a horrible number. He is worse from deep, where he has made five of his 30 attempts, which is only 16 percent.

Nate  McMillan is also sticking with Solomon Hill as part of his rotation, mainly because of his defense. While he has done everything for the team this year, Hill is becoming a liability on offense. He lost his starting spot earlier in the playoffs due to this fact.

Tony Snell is not the player he was from four months ago when he was shooting at an extremely high clip from deep and defending well. Now he is only getting junk-time minutes and is not an option to break into the rotation.

The only real option to break into the rotation is Cam Reddish. He is back to full health and should shoot better than Bogdanovic at the moment, His defense is the best of anyone else mentioned here and with Khris Middleton finding his groove last game, the Hawks need all the help at the wing they can get.

Next. Williams and Gallinari veteran presence needed. dark

So, the question remains, is McMillan right keeping the same rotations? Given the Hawks have now fallen behind in the series, they need to try something different, considering that Young may not be in the lineup thanks to the ankle injury sustained last game.
