Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back with reaction from Game 4 of Hawks-Wizards. Were the Hawks able to even up the series at 2-2?

The Atlanta Hawks picked up a much-needed Game 3 victory against the Washington Wizards Saturday afternoon. It pushed the series to 2-1 in favor of Washington. Before the win, it was starting to feel like the Hawks might actually get swept. Not so fast, folks!

Of course, one win is rather meaningless in a postseason series. Atlanta was still staring a “gentleman’s sweep” in the face if they failed to win another game.

Well ladies and gentleman, this thing is a series now. The Hawks won Game 4 on Monday night to even the series at 2-2. It’s now a best of three to find out who will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Wednesday night they’ll play Game 5 back in D.C. Friday they’ll return to Philips Arena for Game 6. Game 7 will be Sunday in Washington, if necessary.

It’s impressive that the Hawks have managed to fight back in this series after it looked like they didn’t stand a chance. Stopping John Wall and Bradley Beal in two of their next three games is still a tall order, but at this point, it looks like anything is possible.

Let’s take a look at today’s links.

Mike Budenholzer has elected to play smaller lineups that give the Hawks more offensive versatility. Howard played well in the Game 4 victory. Is “Playoff Dwight” here to stay?

On the Peachtree Hoops Podcast, Kris Willis and Phil Naessens talk through several Hawks related topics. They primarily discuss Atlanta’s playoff series against the Washington Wizards and Tony Ressler’s interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Should Hawks fans be concerned by Ressler’s comments on the future of the organization?

Ressler says ‘every effort imaginable’ to keep Millsap

In the aforementioned interview with Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Consitution, Ressler says that the Hawks will attempt to keep Paul Millsap this summer.
