A look at three underappreciated guards in the 2019 NBA Draft that the Atlanta Hawks could take a chance on in the second round.

The 2019 NBA Draft will be here before you know it (three days away!), and surely the Atlanta Hawks are doing their due diligence ahead of the big day on Thursday. With six picks in total (at least right now), there are a multitude of players that should be on the team’s radar ahead of Thursday’s draft.

We’ve previously outlined numerous different players to keep an eye on, but in this piece we’re sticking to the second round. We’ve previously outlined backup point guards to nab in the second round, but in this piece we’re focusing on a few extremely underappreciated guards from mid-major conferences in Men’s NCAA basketball.

At this point, we all know what the Atlanta Hawks need in the 2019 NBA Draft, as well as what Hawks GM Travis Schlenk is likely to prioritize come draft day.
