Sam Allred has been the Site Expert for Soaring Down South since the 2025 offseason. In his free time, he works for a professional and AAU basketball team and coaches high school basketball. He began his FanSided career covering the Dallas Mavericks for The Smoking Cuban, and his writing has been featured in Sports Illustrated Kids. He graduated with both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M. Sam holds his high school's record for most technical fouls in a season and career.
